Salah satu jenis  pertanyaan dalam bahasa Inggris disebut sebagai Yes/No Question. Berikut adalah beberapa hal terkait dengan Yes/No Question:

• Yes/No Question adalah pertanyaan konfirmasi;
• Tujuannya adalah mencari kebenaran suatu informasi;
• Pertanyaan diawali dengan auxiliary 'Be' (am, is, are) atau auxiliary do, does, did serta have/has.
• Jawaban atas pertanyaan Yes/No Question harus diawali dengan kata 'Yes' atau 'No' dan diikuti oleh short atau long answers.

Pola Kalimat:
